R-word | Spread the Word to End the Word
Words can hurt. While unacceptable to make racially charged statements, negative and demeaning comments towards those with special needs are often commonly heard.
Let's pledge together to end the use of such words and terms. Focus on inclusion. Those with intellectual disabilities deserve just as much respect and compassion as everyone else.
